Cardinalis Infographic
This infographic creates an interesting look into the North American Cardinal and its migration, habitat, and diet. By combining data visualization with illustration, this infographic creates a fun and educational way to learn more about Ohio’s state bird.

Ideation
After compiling all of my research and refining the illustrations, I started to create the data visualizations and lay them out. Through this process, I started by using the puzzle piece method (left) and then creating a complete digital sketch (right). Through this method, I could focus on each visualization while seeing how it fits within the larger context.

The illustration style for this infographic was inspired by the style of Charlie and Edie Harper.
