Socceroos Brand Identity


I created a contemporary brand identity that reflects the accepting but competitive spirit of the Socceroos. The Socceroos are a lower league rec team located in Cincinnati, Ohio, whose mission is to teach cooperation and teamwork through soccer.

Crest Development


For the crest I decided to go with a thin linework style to create an open and accepting feeling that reflects the Socceroos mission. I also added in some fun elements such as the crown and beer stein to tie back to the Socceroos Cincinnati heritage.

Brand Expression


For the more graphic side of the brand, I wanted to create something that had a competitive tone but could also be playful at times. To accomplish this I focused on creating dynamic and simple compositions while using a complementary color pallet where the purple would act as a base color while orange and white act as moments of excitement that reflect the tone and stadium atmosphere that soccer is known for.

Social Media Graphics


As a part of the rebrand I also created a set of graphics for communicating game information, lineups, and game results. These would serve as templates for future designers to use to communicate this information.
